Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Health Systems Agency
Responsible for providing high quality care to the consumers of a Health Systems services. The LPN is responsible for medication administration per physician orders, implementing physician orders, accurately documenting nursing care within the scope of LPN practice (State of WV Nurse Practice Act), and communicating effectively with other staff regarding client care.
Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the State of West Virginia. Experience in Behavioral Health preferred. Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record required. 24 hour accountability and responsibility for nursing services is required as needed to ensure the highest
quality of consumer care and safety at all times.
Potential Employer will require completion of an Organization Standards questionnaire.
Abilities required:
Maintain patient confidentiality
Work successfully under potentially stressful conditions
Adapt to varying workloads on a constant basis
To make sound, independent judgements
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, agency members
Comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures
Reading and comprehension skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
